Privacy Policy — Recamio

Recamio Technologies, Inc. (“Recamio,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By joining the waitlist or using our service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Data we collect

Waitlist: your email address, so we can notify you when access is available.
Account data: name and email when you create an account.
Connected sources: when you connect a service (Gmail, Calendar, etc.), we process the content you authorize solely to build your memory graph.
Usage data: anonymous analytics about how you interact with the app, used to improve the product.

2. How we use your data

To create and maintain your memory graph.
To send waitlist updates and, with your consent, product announcements.
To improve our features and performance.
To provide security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, we process your data based on (a) your consent, (b) our legitimate interest in operating the service, and (c) the performance of a contract with you. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Data retention

We keep your waitlist email until you ask us to remove it. Connected source data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

5. Your rights

Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Export your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent and object to processing.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. Data security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. We are building toward SOC 2 compliance and follow industry best practices, but have not yet completed a formal SOC 2 audit.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, analytics) under contracts that require confidentiality, or when required by law.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. We use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA.

9. Children

Recamio is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
